The Sebastian River High School Navy JROTC program, in cooperation with the Indian River Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), has recognized Cadet Chief Petty Officer (C/CPO) Kyle Ward as Cadet of the Month for September 2025, celebrating his outstanding leadership, dedication, and service to the unit. Sergeant Gallop with the Florida National Guard brought the MRE experience to the SRHS Culinary Program.  After students enjoyed their MRE meals Sergeant Gallop presented an overview of career opportunities in the Guard.

SRHS Automotive went through an extensive renovation over the summer.  Students are enjoying their upgraded learning environment.  Students are using the automotive lighting trainers to learn how to properly diagnose electrical systems.

Remembering September 11, 2001

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience of a nation forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001.

In schools across our District, we take time to honor the significance of this day, ensuring our students understand the importance of unity, service, and compassion in the face of tragedy. As we reflect, we are reminded of the strength found in community and the enduring impact of coming together in support of one another.

We will never forget.

Pick up laptops, purchase PE uniforms, and walk your schedules! Remember to download your schedules from your Focus portal before arriving on campus!

The ESE Department kicked off the upcoming school year with their annual RESET planning session, bringing together Principals, Assistant Principals, and Resource Specialists for a morning of collaboration and updates.

During RESET, the team shared important new policies and procedures, while engaging leaders in meaningful dialogue around best practices to support campuses across the district.
