Student Orientation - Wednesday, August 7th from 3:00-6:30

Orientation is open to all students and parents. At orientation, you can receive information about transportation, sign up for lunch programs, speak to counselors, purchase a PE uniform, tour our campus, purchase spirit gear, and more! We'll have an informational session for parents and new students at 4:00 in the Performing Arts Center.

Shark Frenzy - Wednesday, August 7th from 12:30-3:00

Shark Frenzy is designed for our new students. Students will have the opportunity to join breakout groups to tour campus, learn about our school culture and programming, and find their classes so that they are ready for the first day of school. We'll also have fun games and contests to welcome our new Sharks! Please SIGN UP ONLINE to let us know you're coming! The first 250 students to sign up by July 19th will receive a FREE spirit t-shirt!

Registration Tips

Incoming freshmen that are zoned for SRHS will be registering for classes by registration form through school visits.

• Sebastian Charter Junior High – Monday, March 11th
• Storm Grove Middle School – Tuesday, March 12th
• Sebastian River Middle School – Thursday, March 14th and Friday, March 15th

• The top page of the registration form will be collected on registration days.

• Parents, we ask that you sign the second page (yellow) and have your student submit it to their middle school counselor. Middle school counselors will then send updated forms to us.

• If changes need to be made, they can be marked directly on the yellow page that is submitted with parent signature. Any further change requests will need to be communicated directly to your child’s high school counselor.

• We recommend that you review the registration form prior to registration day to make the most informed decisions. A copy of this is included in the Incoming Freshman Packet linked in the section below.

• Students who return the yellow copy of the form with a parent signature will have scheduling priority!

We host an annual Incoming Freshman Night for students in the second semester of their eighth grade year. Our presentation for our 2019 Incoming Freshman Night, as well as an informational packet, are linked below.

International Baccalaureate

We offer an International Baccalaureate magnet program. Students can prepare to enter the IB Diploma Programme by applying for our Pre-IB program for freshman and sophomore years. Click here for more information.

Career and Technical Education

We have several Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, most of which are available beginning sophomore year. Ninth grade students will tour each of these options in the second semester of their first year.
