Congrats to Jessica Upchurch, athletic director at SRHS, chosen to represent Coach and AD Magazine "Class of 2019, 40 under 40." Jessica is 1 of 40 individuals who represents professionals in the industry who are improving their organizations and helping students on and off the field.
Upchurch began her career as a physical education/health teacher and coach before moving into an athletic administrator role; four years as an assistant athletic director; and now beginning her fourth year as an athletic director. She serves on the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Athletic Director Advisory and Appeals Committee. While balancing the demands of the job, Upchurch competes in triathlons and is a four-time Ironman finisher.
