Here at SRHS we work tirelessly every day to deliver a caring and safe learning environment, with rigorous and relevant curricula by “Encouraging Innovation and Promoting Excellence” to all our students. SRHS is an International Baccalaureate (IB) school which provides our students access to high quality and a world class education. As an IB school we strive to develop students who will ultimately build a better world of tomorrow through intercultural understanding and respect. As such, we aspire to provide all stake holders with exceptional service both on and off our campus.

  • Opened: August 1994 with 72 staff members and 822 students
  • January 2018: 170 staff members and 1817 students


  • 33 Appointments to United States Military Academies - highest in the state of Florida among all public and private high schools
  • 9 career programs that offer an industry certification: Automotive, Biotechnology, Culinary Arts, Digital Design, Entrepreneurship, Geospatial/Geographic Information Systems, Nursing Assistant, TV Video Production, and Welding


  • Cost of initial construction - $27 million
  • 2002 V-wing opened - 12 additional classrooms, 3 science labs, 1 computer lab
  • 2008 Commodore Tom Adams Navy JROTC Complex opened
  • 2012 W-wing Freshman Learning Center opened - 24 additional classrooms, science labs, computer lab, multipurpose room, cafeteria


  • Since 1998, over 200 student athletes have signed athletic scholarships in baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, and volleyball.
